Why DTF Pringting?
All of our prints are produced in-house on our own DTF (Direct-to-Film) printer — a different process to the vinyl transfers many kit suppliers still rely on.
Vinyl printing works by cutting each colour or shape out of a sheet of coloured vinyl, then heat-pressing it onto the garment. It’s fine for simple, single-colour designs, but multi-colour logos need multiple layers cut and pressed separately, which adds thickness, stiffness, and more edges that can lift or crack over time.
DTF printing prints the full-colour design — however many colours or gradients it has — directly onto a film in one pass, then heat-transfers it onto the shirt as a single, thin layer. That means:
- Full colour, no extra cost — sponsor logos, crests and gradients print in one process, not layer by layer
- Softer feel — one thin layer instead of stacked vinyl, so it moves with the fabric instead of sitting stiff on top
- More durable — better resistance to cracking, peeling and fading through repeated washes and match-day wear
- Works on any colour or fabric — no white base layer or fabric-colour limitations to work around
Because it’s all done in-house on our own equipment, we control the whole process from film to finished shirt — no waiting on a third party, and no compromise on quality.
